Alphabet Hand Lettering Guide (a-e)
Hi creators!
Today we will learn and practice writing the letters a, b, c, d, and e in small lettercase.
You can warm up by practicing the drills I have told you from my previous post about practice drills.
The key here is THIN UPSTROKE, THICK DOWNSTROKE.
Let's start creating!
Small letter a
Let's take this stroke by stroke. I have put numbers so you can follow step by step. Make a thin upstroke and then make a thick curve downstroke (1) followed by a thin upstroke (2) and lastly for the tail, make a thick downstroke (3). Tadaaaa! You now have a small case letter a.
Small letter b
This is my favorite letter because you can add a lot of flourishes with this letter, we'll get on to that later on. We have 4 steps here, refer to the photo for better visualization.
Small letter c
This will be easy and simple. Just 3 easy step and you now have letter c. Please refer to the photo for better visualization.
Small letter d
A bit similar to letter b. Just follow the 4 steps.
Small letter e
Last but not the least for this post. This is so easy, you can do this in a swift.
Congratulations!
You now know how to write letters a-e!
I hope this post helped you. Stay creative!
